Digital Painting is a lifelong passion of mine. You can create anything with a little creativity and practice.
My first paintings were an exercise in learning the medium. They don’t share in any particular subject matter or theme, but they are examples of how I have explored different ways to paint in Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI.
This is the first piece I ever painted digitally. It is a depiction of a city that is simultaneously underground but appears to be in the sky. The colors and sporadic strokes create an uneasy feeling, yet there is comfort in between the cloudy frame. I am still very proud of this one, not because of how it looks but how much I learned in the process of creating it.
